Elizabeth Hurley slammed for sexy maid outfit in latest snap with 16-year-old son

Elizabeth Hurley faced some backlash after sharing a new snap with 16-year-old son Damian.

The Royals actress, 52, wore a sexy French maid ensemble and fishnet stockings as she sat next to Damian and veteran actress Joan Collins in an April 15 Instagram post. Elizabeth explained that she was in costume for The Royals, where she plays the saucy Queen Helena, and that Damian had filmed a cameo alongside Collins.

Elizabeth captioned the photo, "My favourite episode of #theroyalsseason4 tonight, with my son @damianhurley1 reprising his role as Prince Hansel and the divine @joancollinsdbe on fabulous form 😘😘😘 @theroyalsone."

However, some of her followers took umbrage with the pic, calling Elizabeth's revealing outfit inappropriate given her son's presence.

"It’s not normal for a [52]-year-old woman to dress like that with her son," wrote one person.

Added another: "I'd be running around looking for eye bleach if my mum was dressed like this."

"Damian, thoughts on seeing your mom in that outfit?! LOL" another added.

But Elizabeth's pic, which garnered more than 26,990 likes as of Tuesday morning, did have the backing support of many of her fans, who pointed out that the actress was clearly in character for the snap.

"How is it 'weird'. All 3 of them are in the WORKPLACE on set," wrote one fan.

"A son does not lust after his mother. Get off your high horse, and stop with perverse thoughts," another fan added.

It's not the first time Elizabeth has been criticised for the outfits she chooses in photographs with Damian.

The British star took heat for an April 4 Instagram snap where she wore a cleavage-baring gown to an event celebrating Damian's 16th birthday.
