He made history at Paris 2024, but Mondo Duplantis' love story also drew plenty of attention during the Games.

The pole vaulter, who defended his Olympic title and broke his own world record at the event last year, attended the Laureus awards with fiancee Desiré Inglander.

If you watched Duplantis' performance at Paris, you might remember seeing him run over to Inglander and kiss her in celebration – a scene many viewers likened to something straight out of a rom-com.

Months later, in October, the couple announced their engagement.

This wasn't Trew's first time at the ceremony.

She was 13 at the time.
