Celebrities who have lost their homes in LA's fires
Devastation has spread across Los Angeles throughout January, with the ongoing wildfires claiming lives and many homes across the city.
Many celebrities including Billy Crystal, Paris Hilton and Mel Gibson have lost their homes to the blaze.

Molly Baz
Celebrity chef Molly Baz has returned to the ruins of her home two weeks after it was destroyed in the fires.
The cookbook author shared a photo of herself in what remains of the building, marking a heartbreaking 'last'.
"Stood in the butter kitchen one last time today," she wrote on Instagram.
It's a heartbreaking sight for Baz's many fans.
Her home, and in particular its beautiful butter-yellow kitchen, has served as the backdrop of her popular cooking videos for years.
As Baz noted in an Instagram post confirming she and her family had lost their home, she said "every square inch" of the property had been "dreamt, designed, built and crafted" by her husband Ben Willett, a spatial and furniture designer.
"The hardest part of thinking about rebuilding is knowing that all the magic that it once possessed is now gone ... and I will never again stand in that kitchen that Ben made me and do what I do best: cook."
Fans shared their condolences in the comments of Baz's post.
"I loved watching you in that kitchen. Bless you and your family," one said.
"Your house was absolute perfection. I'm so sorry for your loss," another comment reads.
Others said they hoped to see Baz cooking again in another kitchen of any colour.
"I'm sure that butter kitchen 2.0 will be even more spectacular," one fan said.
"I'm so sorry for your loss Molly. I know it'll never truly replace it or make up for the trauma you've gone through, but I hope there's a newer, brighter, more beautiful butter kitchen in your future," one comment read.
Zooey and Emily Deschanel
Zooey Deschanel is grieving the loss of her childhood home, where her parents still lived before the property was lost to the Palisades Fire still burning in Los Angeles County.
In a post to her social media, the Elf actor wrote the home, "a marvel of 1920s Spanish revival architecture," was "full of too many incredible memories to count" and "was one of the oldest homes in the Palisades and so spectacularly beautiful. It was not a mansion but it was cozy and lovely and unique and perfect to me."
She posted a gallery of photos showing an arresting before-and-after of the facade of the property, along with family photos, including her sister, fellow actress Emily Deschanel.
Zooey went on to describe some of the "best moments" she experienced there, from Christmas dinners to baby showers, which "all have vanished into thin air."
Acknowledging she and her family "are not alone" along with those affected by the other wildfires in the area, including the Eaton Fire centered around Altadena, Deschanel wrote "the streets of my childhood in Pacific Palisades have been all but erased as we knew them. So many people have lost so much."
She expressed gratitude to those who have "shown up for us and our community and Los Angeles in general," from firefighters to friends.
"You have texted and called, come to visit, you have made us meals, you have sent clothes to my parents who left with nothing, you have distracted us with humor and you have cried with us when we needed. Your kindness is the salve that has made this bearable."
"To the strangers who have lifted our spirits with kind gestures: you are the true meaning of community. Thank you all for showing us the goodness in your hearts. You have no idea how much it means to us," Deschanel said.
She also added in an ironic twist that she was posting about the loss on her birthday. "I feel kind of weird celebrating," she said before urging fans, "Maybe today you could do something for someone who has lost their home."
The New Girl star joins a long list of LA residents and celebrities who have lost homes in the still-raging wildfires, from Joshua Jackson to Milo Ventimiglia.
Thousands of people are still under evacuation notices as firefighters continue to battle the deadly Los Angeles blazes, which have claimed the lives of 27 victims so far. There is hope fire teams will continue to make progress this weekend ahead of another round of fire-fueling winds expected next week.
Evacuees anxious to return to devastated neighborhoods to survey damage will have to wait at least another week, as hazardous material is removed. For some, a return home is likely months away. Contaminated water and landslides are still big risks.

Melissa Claire Egan
Young & the Restless co-star Melissa Claire Egan (pictured at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival in Monaco last June), also lost her home.
"We are safe. Thank God. All that matters," the actress told fans on social media.
"We just bought a house in the Palisades two weeks ago that's now destroyed. We hadn't moved in yet but it's gone."
Eric Braeden
Young & the Restless legend Eric Braeden lost his home of 45 years in the LA fires.
Before evacuating the actor shared a video on social media showing just how close the fires were to his home.
"Saying good bye," he captioned the post.
He returned to his Pacific Palisades home along with a TV crew from Entertainment Tonight, but was shocked to tears as he stepped out of the car and saw his home reduced to rubble.
"I didn't think it would hit me this much, man. … I'm devastated, man. I'm devastated. All the memories. I don't want my family to see this," he said.
"Obviously you've seen a lot of coverage on television over the last few days, and I never imagined this.
"I really didn't ever imagine this. … It's such a feeling of loss, man. It's indescribable. It leaves you totally disoriented."
Miles Teller and Keleigh Sperry
Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Sperry, (pictured at the Golden Globe Awards on January 5) have confirmed the widely reported loss of their home in the LA fires.
"To everyone reaching out I can't thank you enough, your kind hearts have meant the world, I'll never forget them," Sperry captioned a post.
The actress shared a range of images including one as she evacuated their home.
"I wish I grabbed my wedding dress .. wish I did a lot different but it doesn't matter, stay safe, get out," she added.
