Katie Price reportedly dumps Lee Andrews after discovering just $4 in crypto wallet

Katie Price has reportedly dumped her husband Lee Andrews, after discovering he had less than $5 in his crypto account, despite claiming to be a millionaire.

Price, 48, has reportedly met with London’s top divorce attorney to officially call it quits following an eight-month whirlwind romance with the alleged conman, which included him going missing and apparently being held in a Dubai jail.

According to The Sun, the former glamour model’s final message to Andrews reportedly read: “I have been played, and you are not who you say you are. Why have you lied to me?”

The outlet reports that after a buildup of alleged lies and deceit, the final straw come after Price checked Andrew’s crypto wallet, finding just £2.22 ($AU4) in the portfolio that he told her had £37million ($AU70 million) in it.

“I have come to my senses – Lee has lied and lied and lied. I am sick of it. It is over,” Price reportedly told a close friend.

The source went on to say the marriage was “done”.

“She will never go to Dubai to see Lee again,” they said.

“He gave her the ‘recovery phrase’ – the passkey – to get into his account, and on Monday she had a financial expert access the wallet – and, to her shock, discovered it contained just £2.22.”

The source further alleged that Lee never had the money he claimed he did.

“Lee never had $US50million ($AU70 million); he doesn’t have a bean. The most he ever had on any one day was in March for $14,490 (£10,720) which was sent out the very same day.”

Price reportedly saw the real amount in the accounts, and not the “AI mock-ups” he had previously showed her, and lost it.

The source added that Andrews had “deeply embarrassed” Price.

Inside their whirlwind eight-month union

The pairs eight-month romance took so many bizarre twists and turns it’s almost impossible to believe they lasted this long.

Just a few months after shotgun their wedding in Dubai, Andrews apparently went missing, claiming he was held and gunpoint and kidnapped by Middle Eastern authorities while trying to cross the Hatta-Oman.

He disappeared for weeks, leaving Price in a panic trying to find her husband.

It was later revealed that he was being held in a Dubai jail with Price telling UK outlets he was being held on espionage suspicions.

Dubai police, however, told media he was not being held on espionage charges, but rather a civil offence.

Previous reports claimed that Andrews would need to fork over £100,000 ($188,000) to be released.

It’s understood Price had been visiting him in jail and trying to get the paperwork sorted for his release, which relied on paying the huge fine.

In the weeks he was missing, reports surfaced that Andrews had alleged conned several women with the same ploy.

Two women came forward alleging he had promised he could make them money by investing in crypto, only to disappear with their deposit.

No charges were laid against Andrews in the UK for fraud. This outlet is not accusing Andrews of any wrongdoing.

Price was not aware of any of the alleged scams.

Another aspect of this saga comes in the apparent travel ban Andrews has, keeping him stuck in Dubai.

He told Price he didn’t have a travel ban, but he couldn’t explain why he missed his appearance on a UK Breakfast show. Price would fly to Dubai to see Andrews, but he did not ever go to the UK.

Andrew’s current whereabouts is not known. He released a video after apparently being released from jail explaining his side of the story, however, UK outlets believe he is still being held in prison.

“I’ve been missing now for several weeks,” he said the video in June.

“I can tell you I’m now safe and, healthy and I’m with my wife.”

He then went on to detail a scary situation, where he claims he was “taken at gunpoint” by men “with assault rifles,” close to the Hatta-Oman border.

He did not explain why he was close to the Hatta-Oman border but continued, explaining he was “taken to a black site.”

“I had no use of my phone, and from what I know it was an extended arm of the National Guard. And that’s all I can reveal at the moment.”

Andrews then turned his attention to the fraud allegations levelled against him since his disappearance.

“At no point have I faced anything to do with fraud allegations or any criminal activity as such,” he said in the video.
