Jodie Foster married her girlfriend Alexandra Hedison over the weekend, her spokesperson confirms.
The pair, who have been reportedly dating for eight months, had their first public appearance together at an event in October last year.

Ellen split with 44-year-old Alexandra in 2004, after dating for three years. The 56-year-old then started dating her Aussie wife and actress Portia De Rossi.
Jodie, 51, spoke out about her sexuality for the first time in a moving acceptance speech at the Golden Globes last year. Watch it in the video below…
