Ireland Baldwin reflects on 'thoughtless little pig' scandal in dancing Instagram video
Ireland Baldwin, the eldest daughter of actor Alec Baldwin, has reflected on the 2007 voicemail leak which saw her father label her a "rude, thoughtless little pig".
The actress and model was aged only 11 when a now-infamous voicemail from Baldwin made headlines, with the 30 Rock actor cruelly insulting his daughter for missing a scheduled phone call.
Ireland, 26, mocked the scandal in a dancing Instagram video, where she also accused the media of being a "giant garbage dump" which has sexualised her over the years.

During the video, Ireland made fun of all the names she has been called in the media — including "fat", "thoughtless little pig", "attention seeking, voluptuous, promiscuous" and a "brat".
Ireland danced to the tune of the Ting Ting's song 'That's Not My Name' as she made light of the media furore surrounding the voicemail.
The daughter of Baldwin and Kim Basinger then penned a lengthy message in her caption about how the press has treated her, simply because she is the daughter of celebrities.
"I can't even tell you how much time I've wasted worrying about headlines and comments. Can you believe that? Can you believe how much control we give others and how much power we give their narratives," Ireland wrote.
"Maybe you don't experience this on the scale that I do, but the majority of us have been called names and have had assumptions made about us. I hardly read articles that come out about me in general but oftentimes when I do, I'm always sexualized in some way or compared to my parents in another."

Ireland went on to criticise the media for only spinning stories in a negative way and defended her decision to follow her parents' footsteps in the entertainment industry.
"Unfortunately, positivity and good news hardly sells. The media is one giant garbage dump and I could give less of a sh--- what they call me… I know who I am for the first time in a long time and I'm excited to show you what I've been working on," she continued.
"I know that my decision to work in the entertainment industry will of course bring on the constant comparison to the achievements of both my parents, and I continue to embrace the parts of myself that are indeed like them… but I am very excited to show you the individual that I am and the person I've grown to very proud of.
I don't give a f--- what you think about how I look, what I wear, what I think and say, and damn does it feel good to get to this point."
Ireland was stuck in a bitter custody battle between her parents in 2007 when her dad left the notorious phone message.

Basinger and Baldwin had split in 2000 after seven years of marriage and he left Ireland a heated voicemail after she missed a scheduled call with him.
"You have insulted me for the last time … You don't have the brains or the decency as a human being," Baldwin said in the message.
"I'm going to really make sure you get it … I'll let you know how I really feel about what a thoughtless little pig you are. You are a rude, little pig, okay?"
Baldwin has since apologised over the voicemail and the father-daughter duo have made light of the incident in interviews and comedy sketches over the last 15 years.
