Former Disney star Tiffany Thornton is pregnant with her third child

Former Disney star Tiffany Thornton and her husband Josiah Capaci have revealed they're having a baby.

On Wednesday, 32-year-old Thornton shared the happy news on Instagram, letting her two children from a previous marriage make the announcement.

In a sweet pic, her sons Kenneth James, 5, and Bentley Cash, 2, can be seen sitting on a bed, grinning while holding a felt board with the message, "NEW BEST FRIEND COMING NOV 2018".

The Sonny With a Chance star captioned the photo with a biblical quote, "For this child I have prayed, and the Lord has granted the desires of my heart.- 1 Samuel 1:27."

Thornton's two children are from her marriage to the late Chris Carney, a musician and reality TV star who tragically died at the age of 35 in a car accident on December 4, 2015.

Thornton wed Capaci, a pastor, less than two years after Carney's death -- a decision which earned her some criticism from angry fans.

"There is no timeline for grief or for when God moves in your life in undeniable ways," she said on social media the day after getting married to Capaci. "It wasn’t my choice to fall in love so quickly after Chris passed but I was growing so comfortable with being alone that it was becoming unhealthy."

Some people took issue with a photo Thornton shared of herself and Carney on their wedding day, that was captioned, "You are the greatest thing that's ever happened to me."

In Thornton's statement the next day, she explained: "When I say ‘Jo is the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me’ that in no way indicates that I didn’t love my first husband with all that I had. How dare any one of you judge me and say that on a social platform. It doesn’t make you any better of a person to cast judgment on others and sit in the seat of mockers.

"I will always love Chris and Jo knows that. And I will always love Jo. The beautiful thing about love is that it multiplies as new blessings come into your life.”
