Celebrities spotted at the FIFA World Cup 2026

Sports fans around the globe have World Cup fever, including dozens of famous faces that have been spotted at matches and FIFA World Cup 2026 events in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

The latest semi-final match between Argentina and England drew a particularly star-studded crowd. The likes of David and Victoria Beckham and Mick Jagger were all in the stands to catch Argentina’s triumphant victory, though not all were happy about it.

The couple watched intently, also joined by their son Cruz, 21, and his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30, as England took an early lead only to lose their grip on the game right at the end when Argentina took home the win.

After becoming a viral meme for remaining expressionless during many other World Cup games while her husband cheered on England, Victoria made sure to join in the celebrations this time.

When England scored their opening goal against Argentina, the pair jumped from their seats to celebrate.

Other stars spotted at the match included Millie Bobby Brown, Louis Tomlinson and his girlfriend Zara McDermott, and none other than rock legend Mick Jagger.

Jagger made it a family affair, attending the match with his sons Deveraux Jagger, James Jagger and Lucas Jagger.

During the Spain vs Belgium quarter-final match at Los Angeles Stadium, Cruz Beckham snapped a picture with A-lister Timothée Chalamet.

While Beckham kept it casual in a white tee and denim jacket, Chalamet stepped out in a colourful windbreaker.

Actor Javier Bardem was also at the game, wearing Spain’s colours to cheer on his team.

He’s been spotted at multiple World Cup matches, often accompanied by his wife, Penélope Cruz.

Speaking of Cruz, she was spotted in the stands at that same match, chatting with A-list movie star, Brad Pitt.

The pair were matching in matching white looks, with Cruz adding a touch of burgundy.

In true Paris Hilton style, she had to add a bit of sparkle and pizzazz to her outfit when watching the World Cup.

She was spotted at Los Angeles Stadium for the match between Türkiye and USA.

The Beckhams have been regulars at the 2026 World Cup, also spotted alongside one of their mega-famous friends Tom Cruise at the match between USA and Paraguay at Los Angeles Stadium on June 12.

The Beckhams matched in tailored looks, while Mission: Impossible star Cruise donned a monochrome black outfit with a brown suede jacket, complete with his signature aviators.

The trio had just celebrated David’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Game of Thrones star Kit Harington was spotted at two games, Morocco versus Brazil on June 13 and England versus Ghana on June 24.

The star made it clear where his allegiances lay, sporting a bright red Morocco jersey for the occasion.

Jay-Z made a surprise appearance on the field at Lincoln Field in Philadelphia for the match between Ivory Coast and Ecuador.

He kept things casual in a white tee and bucket had with a pair of black sunglasses.

Jamie Foxx was spotted heading into the USA versus Paraguay match sporting a bright orange beanie and a pair of sunnies.

Barbara Palvin wore a chic all-black look with her baby bump on display at the USA versus Paraguay match.

Her husband, Dylan Sprouse was in attendance too although he didn’t make the Instagram dump, Palvin instead sharing some snaps with Sophia Graves.

Ciara has been seen out and about at several games across Los Angeles and Seattle.

Her NFL star husband, Russell Wilson, seems to be enjoying his break from the field, this time enjoying the matches from the stands.

Actress Alexandra Daddario wore an England jersey as she cheered the team on during their match against Ghana.

She shared a few playful snaps from the day, even spotting superstar David Beckham in the box!

An unlikely appearance was socialite Paris Hilton, who was decked out in red white and blue to support Team USA at the Opening Ceremony held in Los Angeles on June 12.

She wore a striped red USA top and jeans, blue gloves, blue sunnies and carried a red Chanel handbag.

Actor Ryan Reynolds cheered for his home country Canada, but was alone in the stands as his wife Blake Lively extended her It Ends With Us legal battle with Justin Baldoni.

Jaafar Jackson, who portraying his late uncle Michael in the biopic of the same name, made an appearance in a cream monochrome outfit.

Many celebrities also took the stage to share their national pride. 

Actor Salma Hayek donned a stunning red pantsuit to officially welcome the crowd to the Mexico vs. South Africa match in Mexico City on June 11.  

Singer Shakira teamed up with Burna Boy to perform their song for the FIFA World Cup, Dai Dai, in Mexico City.  

Pop princess Katy Perry wore a sparkly silver dress by Stella McCartney to perform with 10-year-old Norwegian singer Tius Luka during the Parade of Nations before the FIFA World Cup 2026 Group D match between USA and Paraguay.

The pair performed hand-in-hand before the 40-year-old picked him up for a hug.

Tyla and Future also performed together ahead of the opening ceremony, with the rapper wearing red and the singer wearing blue to represent the nation’s colours. 

Italian opera legend Andrew Bocelli teamed up with KPop Demon Hunters star EJAE to perform the World Cup’s official anthem DNA together at Mexico’s opening ceremony.

Bocelli wore a red suit while the recent Grammy Award winner wore a blue and white dress. 

BlackPink’s Lisa performed at the US Opening ceremony alongside Anitta and Rema, singing their collaboration song Goals.
