Celine Dion reveals her late husband is the only man she's ever kissed

The power of love. In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Celine Dion opened up about her husband Rene Angelil's tragic death - and revealed he's the only man she's ever kissed.

The five-time Grammy winner was just 12 years old when she met music manager Rene, 26 years her senior, in 1981.

"I thought he was very beautiful," she told host Mo Rocca of their first encounter. "He looked great. I felt confident that this man was not treating me as a, 'Oh, hi, little pumpkin.' Or, 'Hi, little sweetie,' or like a little baby."

After working together professionally for years, their relationship turned romantic, and they eventually wed in 1994. They stayed married until Rene tragically lost his long battle with throat cancer in January 2016.

"When he left, it was kind of a relief for me that the man that I love, the only man that I kissed, the only man that I loved - Yeah, I never kissed another man in my life," revealed the mum to Rene-Charles, 15, and twins Eddy and Nelson, 5.

"So the man of my life was my partner, and we were one. So when he stopped suffering, I said to myself: He's okay. And he deserves not to suffer."

And 48-year-old Celine, who just celebrated her 1,000th show in Las Vegas, can't imagine dating anyone else.

"Not now, unh-uh," she said. "I love him. I'm still in love with him. And I have the love of my children. I have the love of my fans. I love the people that I work with.  So my life is not empty of love.

"But there's a song from Sia, 'I go to sleep and imagine that you're there with me.' And I go to bed with him. And I come on stage with him. And so I'm still married to him."
