Many flock to Hollywood with big dreams of superstardom.
But recently, for some of those whose dreams have come true, their chapter in Hollywood has come to an end, and they've decided to leave the US.
Here are all of the A-listers who made the decision to relocate and why.

Rosie O'Donnell
Rosie O'Donnell has become the latest star to leave the United States.
The actress and comedian, 62, who hails from New York, has revealed she has moved to Ireland after heading there on January 15.
She's even in the process of getting her Irish citizenship, saying she has Irish grandparents.

In a new TikTok video shared with fans, O'Donnell explained more about her decision to move.
"I was never someone who thought I'd move to another country, but that's what I decided would be best for me and my 12-year-old child," she said.
"I miss my other kids. I miss my friends. I miss many things about life there at home and I'm trying to find a home here in this beautiful country and when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that's when we will consider coming back."
She added, "It's been heartbreaking to see what's happening politically and hard for me personally as well. The personal is political, as we all know."
"And I think about everyone every day and the United States of America. And I am hoping that we can turn things around, counting on you, all of you, to do what's right. And I think deep down inside, we all know what that is."
Charlie McDowell and Lily Collins
When Lily Collins isn't playing the role of Emily in Paris, she's enjoying being Collins in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The actress and her husband, Charlie McDowell, co-own the media production and real estate company Case Study Copenhagen.
The Copenhagen Post reported in March 2023 that the pair had purchased a house in the country's capital and reside there.
Josh Hartnett and Tamsin Egerton
Celebrity couple Josh Hartnett and Tamsin Egerton spent years living between the US and the UK until they decided to spend lockdown in Hampshire.
Hartnett told The Guardian that unlike in the US "where people only want to talk about your career", in Hampshire "nobody cares", which he enjoys.
Britney Spears
Britney Spears says she decided to leave the US for a very specific reason: to escape the paparazzi.
The pop superstar made the revelation during a post for her birthday on Instagram.
"That's why I've moved to Mexico," she explained.
Christina Milian
Singer Christina Milian made the decision to relocate her family to France for the sake of her husband and children.
"My husband is French, and we've been together for over seven or eight years and for like the last three or four years, we were commuting back and forth every six months
"And then we decided to commit to it last year because our kids were going to go to school," she revealed on the Jennifer Hudson Show.
Tina Turner
In 1995, the late Tina Tuner and her then-boyfriend Erwin Bach, who would go on to become her husband, made the decision to move to Switzerland.
In 1997, she told CNN, "I have left America because my success was in another country, and my boyfriend was in another country."
The star says she was "as big as Madonna" in Europe.
"I went to England for a couple of years, and then I met a man, and I lived three years with him in his country, in Germany.
"Then I bought a house, in the meantime, in the south of France, and I started to rebuild that, so I'm in and out of there. That's not a place I can go often. [Home is] Zurich. Because my boyfriend was moved there to run the company, and I always wanted to go to Switzerland, and I was very happy."
Richard Gere and Alejandra Silva
Actor Richard Gere revealed his plans to relocate to Spain with his wife Alejandra Silva and children during an appearance on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
"For me, going to Madrid is going to be a great adventure because I have never lived full-time outside the United States. And I think it will be very interesting for my children as well.
"For Alejandra, it will be wonderful to be closer to her family, her lifelong friends and her culture," he said.
"My wife is Spanish, and she gave me about seven years here and so we're going to spend some years in Madrid. Our kids are bilingual, so they're going to flourish there."
Sophie Turner
Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner left the US following her split from Joe Jonas.
The actress later revealed she felt her American life had come to a standstill and felt she was missing out on major events with her loved ones at home in the UK.
Turner told Harper's Bazaar, "Every city we ended up in, the first thing I'd do was find a British shop and stock up on a month's worth of chocolate."
The A-lister then spoke of the politics in the US, sharing, "the gun violence, Roe v Wade being overturned … everything just kind of piled on.
"I'm so happy to be back [in the UK]. It felt as if my life was on pause until I returned to England.
"I just never really feel like myself when I'm not in London, with my friends and family.
"I was away for so long – six years – and it was when my friends were getting engaged, and when I got pregnant.
"I went for dinner with someone the other day, and she said, 'I never got to touch your belly.' We didn't have those key experiences with each other."
