Brittany Hockley reveals pregnancy news after years-long fertility struggles
Aussie radio host and podcaster Brittany Hockley is expecting her first child after sharing her experiences with infertility.
“Can’t believe we are saying this, but it’s time for the next chapter… Baby squid is on its way!” Hockley and her Swiss footballer husband, Ben Siegrist, shared in a sweet video showing her growing bump.

Hockley, 38, and Siegrist, 34, tied the knot in a lavish wedding in Bali in June 2025 and divide their time between Australia and Europe, where he plays professional soccer.
The special family news comes after Hockley opened up about her experiences with infertility, leading to an outpouring of support and celebration from friends and followers.
“Still crying,” Hockley’s Life Uncut co-host Laura Byrne wrote. “The best news everrrrr.”
“Congrats darlin! I know you’ve been through it with IVF and the likes,” wrote Angie Kent. “It certainly can be a marathon for so many women. But now, your dream has finally come true! What a damn blessing!”
“Not me crying over this news like it’s someone I know! So, so happy for you guys,” a third follower shared.

In July, Hockley shared a passionate social media post in response to people asking why she doesn’t have children.
“It’s not for lack of trying, trust me. No harm is ever meant when people ask, I know that. And my answer might sound blunt. But we haven’t been able to fall pregnant. This is just the truth of it,” Hockley began a lengthy post.
“Anyone that struggles with infertility knows, it consumes your life and your thoughts. Because I also wonder when and if we will have kids. It truly is exhausting.”
Hockley shared a montage of videos of her and husband Siegrist travelling the world.

Over the video, she wrote: “I’m 38. Married. I travel the world. No kids. Every day I get asked why I don’t have kids or when I am having them. That I am missing out. To that, I say I can’t fall pregnant. I hope that answers your questions.”
She penned a message to others who were struggling with pregnancy, loss or infertility.
“I hope you’re still able to enjoy life while you’re in the thick of it because it’s easy to let it completely take over,” she said.
“But it would be a shame to miss life’s beautiful moments that are still happening. Because life is still happening, and we get just one.”
She had previously opened up about freezing her eggs in her early 30s as well as the process of embryo retrievals and IVF.
