Bec Judd never holds back when talking about beauty mishaps, this week revealing that a botched round of filler once left her looking “like an alien.”

On her podcast Vain-ish, the 43-year-old admitted she once got bad anti-wrinkle filler in her forehead that made her look like “Spock” from Star Trek.

“That happened to me once. I call it Spock face, because of Mr Spock! I’ve been having anti-wrinkle injections for literally half my life,” Judd said.

“It was so embarrassing because it was when I had to interview people and react. So, I would be like, ‘Tell us how long you’ve had this restaurant for and what ingredients you use.’

She said the filler caused her eyebrows to slant downwards, resembling the iconic Star Trek character played by Leonard Nimoy, known for his pointed brows.

Judd added that the filler meant she was unable to properly convey emotions while she was hosting Nine’s Postcards, a gig she held from 2016 to 2020.

“They would be talking and I would go to raise my eyebrows... Every time I did, I would go full alien! It was outer corners; it was ridiculous... actually horrendous,” she said.

Judd is known for being open about her filler and plastic surgery, with her podcast delving into the world of cosmetic beauty.

Last year, the influencer opened up about needing corrective surgery for the damage her previous under-eye filler left.

She revealed she experienced “puffiness” under her eyes from the filler. Soon, she had it removed and got fat transfer to the area to smooth it out.

“Remember, everyone’s journey is different and it’s very important to speak to a team of trusted and highly-skilled professionals. There are risks involved,” she wrote, showing off her look now.

“Surgeries leave scars no matter how good your surgeon is. Sometimes asymmetries remain no matter how good your surgeon is. Sometimes people don’t heal as well as others...”

Judd added in part of her post: “AI. Filters are not real life!”

On her podcast last week, when her co-host asked if she had plastic surgery, she replied: “Yes.”

Judd also admitted she’s often accused of having a nose job or rhinoplasty.

“I haven’t had my nose done and it’s the thing I get accused of the most. This little nose – that looks like a nose job – is all mine!” she clarified.

“I have had fat transfer, lower blepharoplasty, upper blepharoplasty...”

Discussing her insecurities, she said: “I was actually born with eye bags. I mean like, dark circles under the eyes, so when I look back at photos of me as a kid, you can see them.”

She decided to get filler underneath her eyes, but soon regretted it.

“At the start, it did its job. But the filler started to migrate and absorb fluid, so it became really, really puffy,” she explained.

“The thing is, filler wasn’t around when our parents were growing up; it’s only been around 15 years so they didn’t understand it would migrate!”

After hating the results from the filler, Bec decided to undergo a blepharoplasty and fat transfer.

A blepharoplasty is surgical procedure said to correct sagging or puffy lower eyelids by removing or repositioning excess fat, skin, and tightening muscles.

“I got the lower blepharoplasty, and what I did after that... the best way to fill up, for me to get rid of that hollowness, was to do a fat transfer.”

“It cost a s--tload of money. If I had my time again I wouldn’t have got that filler in the first place.”
