Bloke in car offers cyclist a tinnie on Australia Day, bloody legend necks it
Not all heroes wear capes, some wear lyrca and aerodynamic helmets.
This Aussie cyclist was just out for a ride on his peddly on Australia Day, when he bumped into a carload of excited blokes and Sheilas.
The group, obviously getting into the spirit of the day, offer this complete stranger a tinnie.
What happened next puts this unassuming cyclist on the same tier as Bob beer-skulling Hawke.
First off, we're going to say probs don't hassle cyclists on the road - at best you'll get one heck of stinkeye, at worst you'll get ... well a pretty bad sitch.
You don't generally think of cyclists being "lewse units", but more super fit latte-drinking lycra-lovers.
And you absolutely wouldn't think of a cyclist enjoying being heckled by a carload of yahoos.
But this bloke destroys that stereotype completely.
After being offered the tinnie, the cyclist goes for it much to the delight - and surprise - of said carload of yahoos.
Sure, it may blur the lines of legal conduct on the road (which is code for "don't actually do this guys, drinking and cycling is illegal") but that's not the point.
The point is breaking down barriers.
And tinnies.
