Tactical police swarm unit in Sydney’s south-west following daylight shooting
A major police operation is underway in Sydney’s south-west following a brazen daylight shooting in Liverpool.
Emergency services were called to a Charles Street unit block around 1pm on Tuesday, where a 32-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Paramedics treated him at the scene before transporting him to the hospital, his condition remains unknown.
Heavily armed tactical officers and a BearCat armoured vehicle have surrounded the apartment building.
While police are piecing together the circumstances, it is still unclear whether the shooter is inside or on the run.
The area remains active, and authorities are urging anyone with footage or information to contact police immediately.
