Man arrested after police discover two bodies at NSW property weeks apart

A man has been arrested after the bodies of two men were discovered on a property in NSW’s north.

The 32-year-old was arrested at about 12.20pm on Tuesday at a hospital after the bodies were found in the Gurranang home just two weeks apart.

Police were called to Summerland Way at about 3pm on September 13 after a body, believed to be that of a 79-year-old, was found inside the home.

They returned to the Summerland Way property on Monday afternoon to make more inquiries about the first death, only to find another body inside a shed.

They set up another crime scene and began trying to find out what happened to the man, believed to be 59 years old.

Homicide detectives have established Strike Force Faneel to investigate the suspicious deaths, with the 32-year-old taken to Grafton Police Station for questioning.
