Man drowns in Sydney's Royal National Park

A man has drowned after being washed off the rocks in Sydney's Royal National Park.

Paramedics were unable to revive a man washed into the water off Little Marley Beach in Sydney's south after 4pm this afternoon.

The man was pulled out of the water by the NSW Ambulance helicopter

Another man was also washed into the ocean but was able to climb back onto the rocks.

Police from Sutherland Police Area Command are speaking to witnesses.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.

Little Marley Beach is in an isolated part of the National Park and is not guarded by lifesavers.
