Australian man and two children found dead in Bali

An Australian man and his two young children have been found dead inside a property in Bali.
Police were called to a property in Kuta on the Indonesian island, where officers found the body of 56-year-old Fremantle man and his two children, aged six and four, on Sunday local time.

It is understood the man’s wife had called for a welfare check before the bodies were found.
It is believed she was travelling to Jakarta when she raised the alarm.
Indonesian police forced their way into the home and made the grim discovery.
An autopsy is now under way.
A spokesperson for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) confirmed it is providing consular assistance to the family of three Australians who died in Bali.

“We send our deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time,” the spokesperson said.
“Owing to our privacy obligations we are unable to provide further comment.”
