'It's tacky': Unspoken property 'rule' has Aussies divided - here's what the public really thinks
From love and money to nosy neighbours, Andy Lee has done the hard yards to find out what Australia really thinks on The Hundred.
He found out what secret 1 in 10 Aussies are keeping from their partner and which question is never OK to ask a homeowner. Keep reading to find out.

"Is it OK to ask someone how much they paid for their house?" the host asked his panel.
Among the panel, were 100 everyday Aussies perfectly representing the cross-section of Australia.
Like discussing one's salary, Andy pointed out there was an unspoken "rule" when it came to purchasing a property.
At least when others are doing the buying...

"I feel like this rule has changed over the time," Andy pointed out. "Where do Australians sit on this one, do you think?"

It was a unanimous 'yes' from the panel to Andy's surprise, until comedian Tom Gleeson stepped in.

"I personally think you shouldn't," Tom explained. "I think it's a little bit tacky but people just do and the information is publicly available."
It was also a 'yes' from comedian Mike Goldstein.
"How much did you pay for all your houses, Andy?" he quipped.
The results were in!
According to The Hundred, a solid 75 percent of Australians think it's acceptable to ask someone how much they splashed on their property.
This leaves 25 percent who think it's poor form.
On the topic of finance, Andy had one more question to ask Australia – and it came with a hilarious story.
"Eleven percent of Aussies in a relationship have a secret what?" the host queried.

Mike guessed "secret family", panel regular Sophie Monk guessed "secret handshake" while Tom was right on the money.
"There you go, 11 percent of us have a hidden bank account!" Andy announced, which is just over 1 in 10.
One audience member revealed exactly how her secret account works.

"We have a joint account which all of our wages go into and it operates the house and bills whatever," she explained.
"But every week, we're given $100 allowance out of our wages for anything you want to spend that you don't want your partner to know about."
So what was she secretly spending her money on?
"Probably my monthly anti-wrinkle injections," she laughed.
