What to do with tiny spaces in your home

It might be kitchen week on the Block but the Blockheads have discovered there’s one tiny little space that they hadn’t factored into this week’s kitchen design.

“It’s a little niche that we didn’t know was on the plan, it’s kind of like a, umm, I dunno,” a baffled and worried Josh admitted. “It’s a funny little area,” Foreman Dan added, also sounding a little lost for ideas.   

Most of the couples are transforming their spaces into study nooks, a space where someone could set up their lap top and do some life admin like “pay your bills,” Sarah suggests. Ronnie and Georgia are adding a twist to their study nook, adding a door so that the nook is hidden from view.

Clint wants to convert his space into a wine fridge and mini bar area. Hopefully this wine plan turns out better than his last wine idea.

Wombat and Sticks have to be given points for coming up with the most creative ideas.  Sticks suggests turning it into a fish tank. They’ve even “bought a mermaid” for the space, (not sure about that one boys). Their second idea, of turning it into a swing set, also doesn’t sound too safe.

In the end the boys come up with a pretty unique yet practical idea. A bookcase that opens into a secret nook. Check it out in the video below.
