Mid-Century inspired head-turner

Channelling the optimism and innovation of the time, Boyle produced a family home much like a three-dimensional artwork; incorporating planar colours, patterns and natural materials that reflected the best of the 50's and 60's and works as a cheerful backdrop to the street and client’s daily life. 

Using rigid geometric spatial planes paired with graphic coloured awning fins that run along the homes eastern and western façade, the project embodies a unique and playful characteristic.
