In the second episode of Quick Room Flips with Ronnie & Georgia the thrifty couple overhaul a master bedroom with a serious wardrobe problem in just 24 hours on a tiny budget.

Holding the title of most room reveal wins in any series of The Block, Ronnie and Georgia are no strangers to tough makeovers, but this room really pushes them with a furniture dilemma and a lucky break on some plastering.

Episode two: a master bedroom with a serious eyesore

This week in the second episode, Ronnie and Georgia are helping Adrian and Erin who have a massive problem in their master bedroom.

There’s an unsightly wardrobe right in the middle of the space, which is not only taking up room but it’s also completely throwing off the flow of the room.

Plus, because it’s a built-in, there’s no telling what’s above it, below it or alongside it. Ronnie and Georgia just have to hope it's nothing they can’t handle in 24 hours.

Luckily Ronnie is always a fan of some demolition, so he tackles the problem the only way he knows how - with brute strength.

Once the wardrobe is removed, Georgia is able to turn her decorator’s eye on the space and transform it into a modern Hamptons style. She splashes out on some key features and saves money in other places to stick to the $3,500 budget.

In her upcycle for this episode, Georgia gets a vintage sideboard from Gumtree and gives it a whole new lease on life with a coat of paint.

Seasoned renovators like Ronnie and Georgia know the importance of staying nimble during a project, so when the wallpaper installers arrive for Georgia’s feature wall the couple quickly change their minds on where the feature should be and switch the renovation up in the nick of time.

Operating on a serious budget, the couple are forced to get creative with the furniture Adrian and Erin already had in the space. They take the cheap bedroom setting which was already in the room and give it an update with new bedding and some feature pillows, making the whole set look designer and expensive and helping it fit in with the new theme.

There’s also some tips about getting light fittings to work for you, even if they’re traditionally for a larger space.
