Breakout star from last year’s season of The Block, Jess Eva has given some insight into how her husband, Norm’s building career has been going since the show wrapped up.

Jess and Norm walked away with $209,000 despite finishing last out of the final four teams.

But it appears that Norm’s passion for building is dwindling.

Jess Eva now works as a radio presenter on Triple M’s new breakfast line-up, and revealed on the show that Norm is looking to change direction.

“He sat down with me on the weekend, and said I need to talk to you,” Jess said.

“I’m not happy! There’s so many things in my life I’d like to achieve, and I've been building for 25 years."

Jess joked that there was moment in the conversation where she considered that Norm was potentially leaving her.

‘There’s a part of me that thought I was dumped!’ she adds.

But Norm has intentions to follow a completely different career path to the trade that scored him fame on The Block last year.

“I’d like to be a professional punter!” he told his wife Jess.

“He’s the anti Tom Waterhouse. But he's going to do horses."

Jess joined the comedian Lawrence Mooney, Gus Woorland, and Chris Page on the new Triple M breakfast show, Moonman in the Morning in December last year.
