The Block's Josh and Elyse reveal their new Byron Bay abode

The Block 2017 winners, Josh Barker and Elyse Knowles have given a cheeky preview into their new Byron Bay pad.

After the couple recently listed their 1880s Melbourne terrace, they escaped city living and made the move to the hipster paradise.

The couple shared to their Instagram that they’d confirmed arrangements to launch their business in the coastal town.  

“We have decided to make a dream a reality and Launch JandEprojects in BYRON BAY! We are moving and so dam excited!” they wrote.

The former Block winners posted a series of pictures of their crib, and it’s clear the home was decorated with their signature Boho style.

“We love our home #byronbay” Josh and Elyse captioned the photo of their new pad.

The gorgeous home has plenty of light pouring in, and been decorated with a Moroccan vibe. From the eclectic rug to the beige colour palette - we are in awe of this chic beachside estate.

“Lots of people have been asking me why I’ve made the move to Byron Bay” Elyse wrote to her own personal blog Elyse Knowles.

“There are a few answers to this question. Firstly, change can bring opportunity, fresh beginnings & a new perspective. It challenges you to go out & meet new people, find new habits and just live your life in a slightly different way. It’s refreshing & very liberating.”

Megan Gale responded to the series of images - pointing out her appreciation for one specific feature.

“That ceiling though!” she wrote.

“Now that’s a coffee table .. what an amazing piece of furniture” another added.

While other followers couldn’t look past the pompass grass nestled in the corner of the room.
