Emotional family reunions buoy exhausted Blockheads

We’re almost at the end of The Block, and it’s safe to say our Blockheads are just about over it with a capital O.

So it makes sense there were tears aplenty when good guy Scott Cam threw them all an energy-lifting bone in the form of surprise family reunions.

Getting a text on Saturday morning – the day before their second guest bedrooms were due – our Blockheads were wondering if there would be an unscheduled challenge for some much needed cash.

But when they got down to St Kilda pier, they were over the moon to discover the only thing better than money – their families.

Through shocked tears, the tired renovators embraced their loved ones.

“There’s nothing like your kids wrapping their arms around you,” Jess said.

“Ladies and gentlemen,” boomed Scotty. “You’re welcome.”
