Britt and Taz described their week as "frustrating yet zen".

In perhaps one of the biggest gambles this season, the WA parents decided on a wellness space instead of a traditional rumpus room.

Stream every episode ever of The Block for free on 9Now.

Come landscaping, the space will lead directly out to a spa, sauna and ice bath to create a full wellness area of the home.

But did the judges agree with the bold call?

Let's see what judges Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and Marty Fox thought of their rumpus.

"Hopefully the judges will see the vision that we are trying to get across," said Taz ahead of reveals.

"I think we're in with a good shot, I think this is a winning room."

So, did the judges agree?

"Sometimes The Block is all about taking risks, and you guys have rolled the dice this week," Scotty said back at HQ.

Walking in Shaynna said, "Oh, I wasn't expecting a gym!"

Neither were the other teams as their jaws dropped at the revelation.

Marty Fox broke his silence: "OK, it definitely doesn't feel like we're in a house right now."

"We're in a yoga studio," he laughed.

But was that a good thing or bad thing?

Turns out bad.

Marty was concerned that the other houses would have two living rooms.

"And it will impact them on the market because at the end of the day you have one living space and that's it but not when I'm spending over three million dollars on a property.

"I need a living space."

"It's so niche, I think that's the thing," explained Shaynna.

"I can see it making sense, but it is so niche in this market. I would make this feel like a multi space where you can sit here and read a book, be on your reformer, you can go have your ice plunge and your sauna but..."

And it's a 'but' that shattered Taz.

"The fridge is a big mistake," she declared.

"If they get rid of the fridges and put something else in there because that's saying this is the only thing the room can be."

On either side of the fridge and TV however were these gorgeous curved, full-length mirrors lit up with warm LED strip lighting.

Easily converted into a living space, the room did have an inbuilt sound bar and TV on the wall.

Britt and Taz's attention to detail oozed luxury and wellness all in one.
