Celebrity chef Pete Evans is selling his five-bedroom home in the beachside suburb of Malabar, in Sydney.

The My Kitchen Rules judge and his wife, model Nicola Robinson, bought the house in 2013. The pair, who married last year, lived in the modernist home with Evans's two children from his previous marriage.

They paid $1.44 million and have renovated the property. Naturally, an upgrade to the kitchen was first on the list. It's now a designer commercial kitchen with Caesarstone benchtops, a five-metre-long island worktop, dual ovens, twin dishwashers and even a built-in bain marie, perfect for cooking such delicate dishes as custards and terrines.
