‘It’s not personal’

It’s been a tough few days for Sara.

After copping several weeks of scathing feedback for her styling, Sara was close to walking off the show.

Despite a solo styling session with Shaynna, Sara still wasn’t feeling confident. But things were looking up after a heartfelt pep talk from Alice and Shelley during the Domain walkarounds.

“I hate giving out bad feedback,” Scotty said empathetically to Sara and Hayden. “I really do, from the bottom of my heart.”

Alice reminded Sara to not take things too much to heart. “It sounds like you took it quite personally, I understand because it’s your personal injection into this, which is probably why it does feel personal but you have to think about it as a job, which is why if you distance yourself from it.

“It’s not personal,” Alice reinforced to an emotional Sara.  After the pep talk Sara was smiling again, but it didn’t take long for her mood to darken. And it was all because of a bit of cleaning.

Waking up on the day before room reveal, the pair had a mountain of work to do, especially considering they lost some time deciding whether or not to stay on the Block.
