MAFS bride Samantha transforms her kitchen for under $200

Married At First Sight bride Samantha Harvey knows her way around a site.

The single mum is a property developer and recently shared her own kitchen renovation — that she did herself — on Instagram, proving she's got some serious DIY skills.

"Ok so this is just a one day (long day) makeover to my kitchen in the new house," the 31-year-old captioned the before-and-after pictures.

"I laid the floors and painted the cupboards in one day to make everything look a bit better than what it did but didn't want to spend too much as I haven't decided what I'm doing with this house yet."

Sam explained the floating floor cost her $120 and the paint she used was left over from another project she had done.

"I sanded and primed before painting," the post continued.

"I'm not saying it's amazing but it makes the space feel and look so much cleaner for under $200!

"I am building a shop atm and as soon as I'm finished that project, I'm focusing my efforts on the house but this will get us through for now and I think it looks mint in comparison 👌😴 goodnight all, I need rest now haha. P.s had to keep those green taps."

The transformation is beautiful and shows a few simple — and budget-friendly — tweaks can make on a home.

Sam changed the cupboards from a retro fake white wood to a modern black with paint, added sleek stainless-steel handles to all the cabinetry, and updated the flooring. She also painted the benchtop to give it a refresh.

"I just couldn't look at that bench anymore," she added in the comments on the post.

Her followers were blown away with the renovation and how much the mum-of-two got done in such a short period of time.

"Dam Girl, what a transformation… and in 1 day. Go you, it looks Amazing," wrote one fan.

"Wow Sammy that's amazing in a day. You must be exhausted. It looks awesome," commented one follower.

Another wrote, "I always look at the photos before I started reading. 3 times I looked at them before I realised that it is still the same cupboards and bench top!"

Samantha started property development by renovating and flipping houses while in the hairdressing industry before transitioning into full-time building.

"I've renovated six houses completely now and I'm in the process of building five at the moment now," she explained in her audition tape for MAFS.

We can't wait to see what she does with the rest of the house if the kitchen transformation can look that good after a day.
