It’s a new week but for some, the mood hasn’t lifted after Sunday’s savage Block room reveals.

“The judges hate our bathroom. They think it sucks,” weeps Lisa who has no idea what direction to take now.

Marty’s reaction from Sunday night is giving Lisa nightmares.  Nine

The timing of Lisa’s self-confidence crisis couldn’t be worse with the Blockheads about to begin three crucial rooms that could sell their home come Auction Day. Yep, brace yourselves for Living, Dining and Alfresco Week!

Lisa is confused because on Sunday, all the other teams totally loved the couple’s “Flintstones” bathroom.

Were they just being polite? We know one way to find out: Roll the tape for Open For Inspections:

The Blockheads inspect each rival’s main ensuite, and judging by the brutal comments, perhaps Chantel and Wyatt were deserving of Sunday’s win.

House 1’s Adam and Jolene are desperate to not only finish this week, but snag their own first win.

And it seems they’ll do anything, including swiping insulation that’s clearly labelled for their rivals in House 2.

YOU SAW NOTHING. Nine

“I thought I’d do everyone a favour and clean up next door to the house,” Adam explains. Next door being suspiciously close to House 2.

Chantel and Wyatt are scratching their heads over why they have so little insulation. They can’t even think about plastering!

Chantel pops over to their friendly neighbours to see if they have spares. But Adam keeps his lips tight shut. Sneaky.

On the other side of site, Courtney and Sev have their eyes on a secret weapon. Not that they can afford it. Welp.

They desperately want a table from one of the greatest furniture markers in the nation, Christian Cole.

Not just any table but a custom table worth $15,000 to $20,000.

Let us remind you, the girls have already burned through nearly 60 per cent of their $250,000 budget in five weeks.

So unless they want to deliver just a table in sad, bare room, the besties make a brutal decision.

With Christian Cole up for grabs, Adam and Jolene seize an opportunity.

Can they afford him? Nah. Are they going for it? Sure are!

Now, things are going a little too smooth for Adam and Jolene. Wait, what’s that? An ambulance rushing to site?!

House 1’s plasterer Hayden’s heart rate has gone through the roof, and he can’t bring it down.

“We’re concerned about him, we’re a bit worried,” Adam admits.

The duo have a tradie out of action. They’re hoping some rest is all he needs.

“We’ve got our fingers crossed that he’s OK,” says Adam.

Feeling more than OK are Rick and Tayla who are away on their bougie winners’ getaway, where Tayla’s “pretty ordinary” piano playing is making Scotty’s ears bleed.

Are you sure it was her piano playing, Scotty?  Nine

Maybe she can practise in Courtney and Sev’s newly install soundproof room. Yes, that will work.

With extended site hours this week, that don’t account for power tools, Courtney and Sev come up with a brilliant plan so they’re not “getting in trouble every five minutes”.

They install a soundproof room in their house so they can grind and cut materials (and you know, scream and cry) after hours without having to go off site.

A padded room? A panic room? You decide.

Party room?  Nine

Tuesday night, our Blockheads are playing with fire as the battle for the best fireplace begins.

And we all know how easy they are to install. Meticulous approvals and structural changes? That’s tomorrow’s problem. See you then!
