Sarah-Jane Calleja makes guest appearance on Dan vs Dani, slams ‘psych ward’ bathroom

This series is called Dan vs Dani, but it was Dan versus ex Block contestant Sarah-Jane Calleja who stepped in for Dani who was heavily pregnant at the time of filming.

At the time, Dan and Dani were expecting their baby boy Fletcher “any day now” but even still they had work to crack on with. Just what did Dan and Sarah-Jane think of the Blockheads’ main ensuites?

In Adam and Jolene’s unfinished ensuite there were four different tile selections. That was far too many for Dan and Sarah-Jane who thought the choice just “doesn’t make sense”.

“This room is very confusing for me,” Dan concluded.

Walking into Chantel and Wyatt’s main ensuite, Sarah-Jane labelled it “the most elegant psych ward I’ve ever seen”.

Dan agreed saying it was “boring” and Sarah-Jane couldn’t help herself throwing in one last dig calling it a total “snooze fest”.

Over in Lisa and Rosco’s bathroom, the crazy pavement flooring reminded Sarah-Jane of a cobblestone alley way you’d find in a Jack the Ripper story “and not in a good way” (in case you needed any clarification).

Thankfully they liked everything about the shower space, that was until Dan spotted “the most ridiculous thing in the world”.

In House 4, Courtney and Sev hoped their microcement wall would be a winner but Sarah-Jane thought it looked like “you’re waiting for the man to come back and finish it”.

As for Rick and Tayla there was one big elephant in the room that Sarah-Jane wanted gone immediately – you’ll have to see that in the video above.
