Colour-changing furniture is basically a rainbow for your home

If there were any day to be thinking in rainbows, it’s today.

Orijeen, a Seoul-based design studio has the furniture to match your multi-coloured mood with their new eye-wobbling range “Color Flow”.

The pieces create the illusion of changing colour as you move around them.

This is achieved by a ridged lenticular surface that refracts the light from a colour gradient beneath it depending on your angle to the piece. It's like a chameleon for your living room.

The mini collection has two storage unites; a sideboard which covers a spectrum from pink to blue, and a taller cupboard or wardrobe with a gradient of blue, green and yellow.

The studio’s aim for the design (and goal of the studio as a whole) is to get people thinking about their relationship with inanimate objects. Orijeen work on a wide range of projects across furniture, products, space and concept research design, and pride themselves on drawing attention to the connections between humans, design and the environment.

At the very least, rhe rounded edges and simple design make the pieces feel modern yet whimsical, and a pretty unique conversation starter.
