Your mini wine barrel is filled with a local Victorian wine varietal of your choice, and covered in modern art by one of three leading contemporary artists; Hannah Nowlan, Evi O. and Filippa Edghill, who have adapted pieces from their highly acclaimed collections for Pord.

Inside, renowned Mitchelton wines have selected three wine varietals from their 2017 and 2018 vintage; Pinot Grigio, Shiraz and award-winning Rosé.

Upon purchase, each customer gets to select one of the three wines, paired with the artwork that most resonates with them.

The concept is designed specifically to be repurposed and have a minimal impact on the environment, which we love. If you can make your art and wine consumption sustainable, why wouldn’t you?

In other words, once your mini barrel is empty, don’t dispose it – instead, turn it into a centrepiece, an ice bucket for more wine, a vase – even a cookie jar.

Unlike regular bottles of wine, your beautiful barrel will keep wine fresh for four to six weeks after opening.

Each Pord comes with an artists’ note, and a certificate of authenticity hand signed and numbered by the artist.
