‘I’m super stressed - I’m freaking out!’

Daunted by the huge size of her Master Bedroom, Courtney was at a loss as to where to begin. She pondered whether she could start by googling six star “awesome hotels” for inspiration…

No need! She could simply visit the (no doubt) equally fancy Block Shop! “I’m freaking out!” she said to the assistant.

Courtney felt the huge size of the room meant the potential to stuff up was just as big. “I am super stressed,” she said. 

Finally, she decided to kick off by building on the colours of the oversized artwork she had selected. It didn’t take long before she was even questioning that choice. “Is feminine OK?” she wondered of the piece, which was an image of a woman’s head and shoulders.

She took a breath. “I think the Master Bedroom is like an escape – an oasis,” she reassured herself of the choice. “I think it’s quite sensual.”

Determined to “stop freaking out like a crazy person”, Courtney decided to create a sitting area by the window and dress a plush king-sized bed. Armed with her colour palette, she started shopping.

For what it was worth, Scott Cam felt the duo had lucked out landing the huge space. He tried to convince Hans that just the sheer scale would impress the judges… they simply had to get their styling right and the win would be theirs. “If you can dress this correctly, you’ll win hands down this week,” he said firmly.

But Courtney needed absolutely no added pressure.  “I know… but I can’t find any styling pieces that I like,” she wailed.  “Well, unfortunately without styling we’re doomed,” Hans deadpanned.

“Why do you think I’m stressed out every day?” Courtney said, confessing she knew it was her styling that would make or break them.

“It stresses me out – a lot!”

Can Courtney gain enough confidence to deliver a mind-blowing room? Or are the pair actually doomed? We hope not!
