Australian actress and free spirit Nat Kelley is taking an off-grid break with friend and DJ, Alice Quiddington (and her French bulldog), by staying in a tiny home in a secret location in the NSW countryside.

“Disconnect with your own tiny house in the wilderness,” is the Unyoked mantra, and one totally at home with actress Nat Kelley’s own personal ethos.

Kelley is known for her roles in The Vampire Diaries, Unreal, Dynasty and Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, but if you follow her (along with 800,000+ others) on Instagram, you’ll know the Peruvian-born Australian star is just as much about connecting with nature and the self as she is about the finer things in life.

The location of the tiny homes from Unyoked are a secret, even to booking guests.

You get to choose your cabin, which will include a hot shower, toilet and gas stove, as well as a queen bed and king single. However, the location remains unknown until two days before your arrival.

The promise is that wherever you’ll be, it won’t be more than two hours from the city; “far enough to disconnect, close enough to not spend all your time getting there,” explains Unyoked.

A place to disconnect is exactly what Kelley and Quiddington have used the gorgeous tiny home for.

One key way Kelley takes stock and checks in with herself is by retreating to nature.

She’s become known for her free spiritedness, often appearing in rugged and wild landscapes in her “birthday suit.”

She also urges her followers to do the same in a way that fosters connection with oneself and the surrounds.

In the video above, she also shows their set up for a morning tea ceremony – which is a moving meditation for Kelley – with Moroccan and tribal-style rugs on the lush grass. Kelley often takes to Instagram to share her love of tea ceremony.

Kelley also takes time to lie out, sun bathing outside the tiny home.

Speaking to A Conscious Collection, Kelley believes wellness is about looking at the whole.

“For myself to really feel a sense of whole wellness, I need to feel an alignment of my spiritual, emotional and physical body. It needs to encompass a whole spectrum of things,” she says. “Wellness is wholeness, it’s the complete integration.”

It also helps to have a best mate and their cute pooch along for the ride.
