Mel B lists her Hollywood Hills home for $11.78 million

After almost ten years of marriage, Melanie B (aka Scary Spice) has filed for divorce from Stephen Belafonte, and her first order of business was to put her Hollywood Hills home on the market. E! obtained court documents that revealed the singer filed for divorce just shy of their ten-year anniversary, which The Mirror astutely pointed out, ensures Mel’s $65 million fortune is protected. Under Californian law, the courts can award indefinite spousal support if a couple have been married for over ten years.

The Spice Girl is hoping to get $11.78 million for the four-story Hollywood Hills home which was completely redesigned last year.

It has over 6000 sq ft of living space with four bedrooms and six bathrooms. The A list features include a home theatre, gym, luxury swimming pool and a recording studio.

The former X Factor judge has just wrapped up a stint on Broadway, headlining Chicago the Musical as the merry murderess, Roxie Hart.

It sounds like what Mel B really, really wants is to leave this home in her past, along with her marriage. The lucky buyer will also get to keep all the furniture, ensuring Mel can walk away with minimum fuss!
