Man transforms council house into 'Renaissance-style palace'

Retired decorator Robert Burns has spent 14 years turning his home into a 'Renaissance-style palace'.
The 69-year-old painted every inch of his three-bedroom home in Brighton, Sussex, to be reminiscent of a 15th-century style palace after being inspired by a book he found at a car boot sale.
Burns has recreated works of some of the world's artistic greats, including Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. Adding his own signature touch to the masterpieces he recreates, contemporary celebrities like Jamie Oliver, Russell Brand and Wayne Rooney have also been dotted around the home.
Although his kids aren't all that blown away with his achievements, first time visors to his unusual home can't believe the detail and work that's gone into the interiors.
As the video above show, Burns has now starting giving a few tours of his home.
