Talk about a rollercoaster week for Han and Can!

Han started this week with a brand new, positive 'what will be will be' attitude – and it was certainly tested as the girls battled multiple flooring issues and found themselves accused of 'copying' Sonny and Alicia in the Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa challenge.

Despite it all, they were very proud of their living and dining space and hoped the judges would be too.

"The fact we managed to finish this room is a testament to all the hard work that was poured into this, so I'm very proud of us," Can said.

They had splurged on a number of big inclusions this week, spending a whopping $32,412 – much more than the $20,000 budget.

"Thank God there are no crazy blues, this feels great," Marty reacted as the judges entered House 2.

Nope, no repeat of their 'Smurf City' main bedroom here!

Instead, Han and Can's colour palette was creams, neutrals and little pops of colour in their styling.

Darren beelined straight for the couch, which he was pleased offered him a chance to face towards what will become the house's backyard area.

"That is what you want when you're in this location, it's gifting you so much natural beauty," he said.

"Why not look at it?"

There were a lot of 'heroes' in Han and Can's space – including this stunning pearlescent effect on their fireplace.

Not only did the judges like the curves of the fireplace and the attention to detail of a matching curved tile underneath, but it got a big tick for location as well.

It was the perfect spot to sit and chat.

"Think of the anchor point of the fireplace," Marty said.

"In House 1, over in no man's land, you can't congregate. Here, it's front and center, and it's a beautiful application."

Han and Can won back in Main Ensuite Week, and Scotty read the judges' feedback that "this room has the same fun and energy" of that space.

Shaynna had been critical of House 2's styling in the past, but she definitely changed her tune this week!

From the pearlescence to the artwork and even down to the shapes in their chosen rug, Shaynna thought the room was beautiful.

"It's got some energy in a very elegant way that I haven't seen the girls do yet," she explained.

She was definitely feeling proud of their progress!

"I just wanna say, Han and Can, you've grown up," she smiled.
