Their new modular Knoxhult kitchen is made up of cabinets, worktops and white goods that can be installed by even the most amateur DIYer in just one day — and costs just $835 for the basic build. That means there's no need to pay out for a tradie, or take time out to work around their schedule. With a little bit of elbow grease and a few tools, you can add kitchen fitter to your resume in just a few hours.

The Knoxhult range is sure to be a winner with IKEA fans —  and not just for ease of installation. Wall cabinets start from just $55 (perfect if you need to hit refresh on your current kitchen but are working to a tight budget), plus they're modular so even the most awkward space is easily remedied. Add to that sturdy $70 oak-effect worktops, $30 pendant lighting and a gas hob for $249 and you're sure to see this kitchen popping up everywhere.
