Kendall Jenner unveils striking gold bath tub during home tour for Architectural Digest

Kendall Jenner has shown off her stunning Los Angeles house, with a striking feature of the home drawing similarities to one of The Block's most controversial bathrooms of all time.

In a tour of her new home for Architectural Digest, the 24-year-old entered the master bathroom and revealed a large golden bath tub was one of the key features of the room.

"I get a lot of love for my gold tub," she said. "I say at least three times a week I'm in this tub. It's my favourite ever."

Back in 2018, eventual Block winners Hayden and Sara controversially decided on placing a gold bath tub within their master ensuite, which reportedly cost them $7,500.

While the judges were not a fan of Hayden and Sara's master ensuite as a whole, they did like the bath tub.

Shaynna Blaze loved the "unexpected" nature of the bathtub, referring to it as "a different type of luxury".

One key difference between the two tubs is that The Block stars' tub had a black exterior, while Kendall Jenner's was entirely gold. We wouldn't be surprised if it came with a heftier price tag, too.

There were more similarities in the home to that of past Block houses, including a bespoke neon pink sign in a living area within her master bedroom.

A similar sign was used in the dining area on The Block 2018's challenge apartment.

Jenner also unveiled key statement pieces in her home, including a James Turrell artwork.

"I have always wanted a James Turrell so I was really excited when I got it. It's so peaceful and calming and he actually makes these pieces to meditate in front of," she said.

And the most difficult part of the home's renovation was in a dark, moody powder room just off the formal living area.

"This massive stone sink that I was dying for, it's about 300 pounds and the guy who did my house said the hardest part of the entire part was putting this in," she explained. "They had to restructure the walls behind it."

Other areas of her house include an art studio and expansive kitchen with deep green tones.

Perhaps some of this year's Block teams will take a little inspiration from Jenner.
