There's actually an easy way to fold a fitted sheet

Pat Stevenson wanted to learn an important life skill that seems to elude even the most house-proud among us: how to fold a fitted sheet.

Stevenson is a successful photographer who can do "one-handed wheelies on a motorbike," so the fact couldn’t fold a sheet (albeit the Satan of sheets) seemed incongruous to his existing motor skills. Literally.

He took to YouTube to learn from the thousands of tutorials available, and "figured it out" — it all comes down to "the old kiss and pull manoeuvre" followed by a bit of practice.

The 'kiss and pull' involves touching the two long corners of the sheet together, then pulling one side through to the other and repeating at the opposite end.

He says it’s "so easy — even a guy can do it."

Gendered stereotypes aside, you've got no excuses now, fellas.

But really, folding a fitted sheet usually just turns into scrunching it into a ball and shoving it in the linen cupboard, so we'll definitely be giving it a go.
