Hilarious Instagram account makes fun of tacky homewares
We're always on the hunt for Instagram accounts that showcase beautiful homewares and interior design. However, when we came across this account that showcases the worst of the worst, we had to share it.
Ugly Design was created by Swiss founders Jonas Nyffenegger and Sebastien Mathys, who also run a Tumblr account. The Instagram has almost 100K followers and the pair take submissions and post them.
Artsy recently interviewed the duo about Ugly Designs. Mathys said, "I consider ugly as beautiful. I would cry if there weren't any ugly designers anymore, if all our surrounding objects and items looked the same."
There are so many truly dreadful designs shared on Ugly Designs (why are there so many themed toilets?!). Here's our pick of the worst:
