In a rare glimpse into the world of bespoke design production, Italian design house Fornasetti Atelier, has opened the doors to its Milano studio showcasing a series of 10 videos on the production of their luxury homewares. Founded by Piero Fornasetti in the early ’50s, the house has produced decor and objects with iconic motifs such as the face of operatic soprano Lina Cavalieri.

The video above shows the craftsmanship and handmade detailing which goes into the production of each and ever piece.

This new permanent section of the Fornasetti website is dedicated to telling the stories behind the furniture, accessories and porcelain objects of the Atelier, and exploring the different artisanal working phases of production.
