Courtney and Grant kicked things off to a flying start and secured a mammoth $1.35 million over reserve after billionaire Adrian Portelli snapped up their property.
The married Sydney couple were "still in shock" speaking exclusively to 9Entertainment just moments after their auction.

With a reserve of $1.95 million, Courtney and Grant admitted they were "genuinely happy" when the opening bid guaranteed a $50,000 profit.

But the competition was fierce, the bids kept coming and House 2 sold for an eye-watering $3.3 million.
"Adrian does what he does and outbids himself and I couldn't be more grateful," Grant said. "I've never had that feeling before, I thought I was going to explode."
"We were not expecting that," Courtney added.
In their exclusive interview, Courtney and Grant admitted to the hard work they did "to find" a buyer who had an emotional connection to their house.

The new millionaires also revealed exactly how they planned to spend their $1.35 million winnings.
