Aussie mum shares her 'magic' fridge spray that cleans and deodorises

Given it's where we store all of our leftovers, leaky yoghurt containers and one-day-too-old avocados, it's no surprise that our fridges can get pretty grotty.

Not only that, but with hard-to-reach areas, crevices and the fact that you never want to leave the door open too long, that can be very difficult to clean.

Thankfully, Chantel Mila, who has become a cult favourite TikToker for her cleaning hacks and tips, has a 'magic' fridge spray to solve this issue.

The best part? The spray will not only clean but deodorise your fridge and is made from three all-natural ingredients that are likely already in your cupboard.

"The DIY fridge spray you wish you tried sooner," she captioned the video, which has been watched over 165,000 times.

Chantel shared the recipe for the spray in the video and revealed the mix is just 1 cup of warm water, 1/4 cup of vinegar and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract — to deodorise the area she was cleaning.

Then all you need to do is spray it on the inside of an empty fridge and wipe it down with a microfibre cloth.

The spray will help clean the inside of the fridge and get rid of any musty smells that have been hanging around too.
