Someone hacked an aluminium can to make a DIY mini BBQ

Mr Useful worked out how to DIY a mini BBQ from an aluminium can, and it’s adorable.

If you love the taste a BBQ grill gives food, but don’t have the luxury of the space or money to enjoy a BBQ at home, then this may be the DIY for you.

Lifehacker Mr Useful hacked an aluminium can to grill a sausage (or in their case, those weird preservative-laden, pink hot dogs).

Of course, there’s two things to consider: this has little to no practical use unless you’re BBQing for one, and there may be health implications unless you ensure you’ve bought a BPA-free can.

For the DIY you'll need:

• One aluminum can
• A permanent marker
• Scissors
• A drill
• 12 hex nuts
• 4 large machine screws
• 4 small machine screws
• A hinge
• A tiny handle
• Wire
• Charcoal

Mr Useful slices the can in half, uses screws, bolts, a miniature hinge, a miniature knob and a wire formed into a shape of a grill to create the mini BBQ.
