Courtney finally stops doubting herself

Courtney has doubted her styling right through the competition. She doesn’t hide from the fact she is indecisive and has struggled with designing for the huge spaces her apartment showcases.
This week, Courtney and Hans got to select the style for the Challenge Apartment (that YOU could win!) and they quickly locked in “St Kilda”. The idea is that the theme will showcase the area in all its kooky, cheeky, eccentric glory – a style Courtney is also naturally aligned with.
She was happy as she shopped this week. She was delighted as she selected truly quirky wallpaper. She was loving picking out her vibrant bed linen. And when she got her mitts on a llama pot plant? Heaven.
Sure, there was a moment of panic at one point just before reveal, because well, it’s Courtney.
But off the back of copping criticism for her “bland” terrace, there was no chance Courtney was getting called bland for this room.
Upon entering the room for judging, Shaynna Blaze immediately noted the impact of the wallpaper – which she loved. But what’s not to love about black and white striped wallpaper, covered in tiny naughty animals swigging tequila and having a lavish party?
“It’s the type of room you want to claim,” Shaynna admired.
But it wasn’t just about validation for Courtney. The room scored first place in the judging, knocking a whopping 20 grand of her and Hans’ reserve at Auction Day.
