Blockheads have their say on Scotty’s ultimatum

After Sarah and Jason failed to finish their master suite, Scotty delivered an ultimatum to the struggling couple. Finish both the master suite and the kitchen by next room reveal, or “you’re off the Block”. The sentence may be rough but is it fair? The Blockheads have their say.

Ronnie and Georgia

The competitive duo thought the sentence was harsh but fair. “You came on this show knowing that that meant being away from your children, like we’ve made that sacrifice we haven’t seen our children, so yes they’re children is flying away but you signed up for the show you know what the deal is,” says Georgia. “For this 12 weeks this project takes priority.”

“They should consider themselves very lucky they weren’t actually kicked off the show tonight,” Ronnie adds. The couple hope that they take this second chance and give it a “red hot go” this week.

Ronnie was also unimpressed by Jason’s attitude towards Scotty. “You don’t talk back to Scotty, if Scotty’s giving you a serving you don’t talk back, that’s a big no no.” Ronnie adds that finishing two rooms in one week is “the impossible”.

Clint and Hannah

All round good guys Clint and Hannah want to give Sarah and Jason the “benefit of the doubt”. “Let’s give them another week to prove to not only themselves but to everybody else,” Hannah says.  Clint can’t understand why they gave up. “I know a number of factors paid into them being derailed for the week, but still just give it whatever you’ve got, you’ve been given an opportunity of a lifetime.”

Wombat

Wombat thinks Scotty and the judges’ comments about Sarah and Jason’s room was “full on”. The idea of having to finish two rooms in one week is something he doesn’t “want hanging over my head”.

Josh and Elyse

Elyse feels bad for Jason and Sarah but Josh adds that “this is The Block and its reality is you’ve got 12 weeks to prove yourself”. Josh says he doesn’t think it was right that they gave in so early in the week.  “I completely agree with Scotty when it comes to that,” Josh concluded.

When the couples walked through Sarah and Jason's room they were shocked. Ronnie said he was "dissapointed they gave up on Wednesday" while Clint admited that"thank God it's not me".

"House number one is a car accident," Ronnie put bluntly. Watch what else they had to say about the room
