Judges are copying the Blockheads in their own homes

It’s usually the Blockheads who look to the judges and hosts for design and styling inspiration, but this season, some contestants have been doing such a stellar job that those in the know are nicking their ideas for their own private homes.

Lovable Block co-host Shelley Craft was so smitten with the pink palm wallpaper Bianca and Carla used in the challenge apartment’s ensuite, she had to have it for her own home.

“The girls have great taste!!” she wrote on Instagram. “I love the wallpaper so much, I used it in my own outdoor loo!” Swipe across to see the wallpaper in Shelley's WC.

Discerning judge Neale Whitaker has also taken a leaf out of the Blockhead’s books, installing his very own “tonsil” fireplace made famous by Jess and Norm.

Neale has been sharing the renovation progress of his tree change Bundewallah home in NSW's Southern Highlands on Instagram stories.

Although it's impossible to predict the outcome of auctions, surely The Block's esteemed alum imitating these Blockhead's style is a good sign.
