Celebrity accountant, Anthony Bell just picked up Larry and Sylvie Emdur's Dover Heights home for a record breaking $11.5 million according to realestate.com.au.

The sale beats the previous suburb record by $2 million. Bell reportedly attempted to keep the sale on the down low, however details came to light when the sale went through the NSW land titles system.

The Emdur's have lived in the stunning home for over two decades and have recently purchased a $3 million heritage apartment in The Rocks, meaning they have quite the chunk of change after their big sale.

Their new home is vastly different to the Dover Heights mansion with its swimming pool and sweeping views of Sydney harbour. The newly converted three-bedroom city apartment has a New York vibe.

The Emdur's also have a Bondi Beach apartment that they frequently use.

Bell still retains the Watsons Bay home he shared with ex-wife Kelly Landry, and both their names are still on the title.
