Who's ahead when it comes to Auction Day? The teams rush to lock in their real estate agents on The Block 2025

It might only be Week 1 on The Block and we're quite literally months away from Auction Day but it's never too early to start thinking about your real estate agent.

That's exactly the message judge and property guru Marty Fox preached to this year's Blockheads: "I urge you guys, don't do what contestants did last year and leave it for weeks to speak to real estate agents.

"You need to do that as quickly as possible, you need to understand exactly what will resonate. It's what is going to set you apart," Marty continued.

With Marty's warning in mind Han and Can locked in real estate agent Natalie from Belle Property in Daylesford on their first day, while Sonny and Alicia secure BigginScott.

Britt and Taz were well ahead of the pack and already got Damien Cooley as their auctioneer before they'd even set foot in Daylesford.

Emma and Ben were taking a different approach and got some advice from ex-Blockhead Gian Ottavio who, with his wife Gian Ottavio, became the most successful Blockhead when they won $1,650,000 at the 2023 Auction Day.

"We had a great experience with our agents at Ray White. We really benefitted from having somebody that had done The Block before and understood the game," Gian said.

"I don't think you can underestimate how important that will be."

Over in House 5, Robby and Mat picked their real estate agent purely off good vibes.

They locked eyes with their real estate agent Kim McQueen at the ChillOut LBGTQIA+ parade during the House Decider Challenge on Day 1.

After all this is a real estate competition so no matter how great your build and design are, your house is only as good as it sells.
